SheMaps urgently required the services of an agency that could efficiently manage and deliver a range of ongoing services. They had grown tired of hiring freelancers and other agencies that were difficult to handle and failed to meet their SEO expectations.
Mindesigns was up for the challenge to assist SheMaps. Our main objectives were to help with ongoing SEO marketing, web maintenance, and restructuring website data integration and display. Essentially, the goal was to revamp the company’s digital marketing efforts and put them back on the right track.
SheMaps encountered a challenge related to the quality of marketing services they had received in the past. As a result, their SEO marketing performance suffered, as they struggled to gain momentum in terms of website visits.
The previous SEO consultants failed to provide adequate guidance to help SheMaps with their SEO efforts. Additionally, they were never properly set up with web data, analytics display, and reporting tools.
Consequently, SheMaps was essentially making SEO decisions without any reliable insights or data to support them.
The first step we took was to meet SheMaps marketing leader and discuss their business’s goals. Once we had the business’s big picture, we assessed their website in terms of SEO and website performance. Then we consolidated the data to be more equipped to provide our marketing recommendations and steps forward.
We started by delivering SheMaps a list of SEO recommendations in order of priority. Some of these included cleaning up a significant amount of toxic backlinks, optimising on-site SEO, improving speed and solving website errors.
One key task we proposed was improving the website’s overall user experience. This recommendation was based on the overall website bounce rate, that we discovered was 75% (not good). This task comprises making changes to the website content and UX design to make it more engaging for visitors.
The scope of our work with SheMaps has grown with time since 2021, and we constantly strive to provide more value to optimise their business in 2023 and beyond.
We started working with SheMaps at the end of 2021 and throughout 2022. In this period, we significantly improve their website SEO performance in several areas.
More specifically, we achieved the following –
– Website traffic growth from 23,000 to 70,000+
– Website authority growth from 14 to 23
– We reduced the overall website bounce rate to below 50% from 75%
– We Improved UX/UI design of the online shop, significantly increasing sales and subscriptions
