WordPress is our deepest speciality and the platform we recommend when SEO is part of the plan. We build the structure and back end to fit your process and specific business needs.
Shopify is our pick when stock, sales and marketing need to run from one place. We configure the product templates, checkout and Google Merchant Centre around how you actually sell.
Custom API work is what we build when off-the-shelf stops short of what you need. We connect your site to the CRM, booking system or supplier feed your business already runs on.
Scope and fixed quote, then build on a private staging site, then testing on real devices, then launch with redirects mapped, then handover with full admin access and a training video.
We build every site on a staging environment with version control, test Core Web Vitals on real mobile devices, and set up clean URLs, structured data and redirect mapping before launch. That’s the technical groundwork Google needs to crawl, understand and rank your pages.
Other than reducing their user sign-up costs from $21.50 to $5.30. We also improved their SEO and website performance, increasing web traffic from 33,400 to 122,600 per year within a few months.

Custom website development at Mindesigns starts from $6,500. Projects involving custom APIs, CRM integrations or ecommerce architecture typically range from $15,000 to $30,000 or more. The biggest cost drivers are the number of unique page templates, how much back end work sits behind the site, and how many other systems it needs to connect to. Every build is quoted as a fixed price after a scoping call, so the full cost is agreed before any code is written. For a lower entry point, our website design packages start from $3,500.
Yes, and it’s one of the most common reasons businesses come to us for development. We’ve integrated Sekuro’s website with Zoho, built a live supplier feed for Jewellery Melbourne so their diamond inventory updates automatically, and developed a custom search function for The Finn Group’s business listings. As a HubSpot Solutions Partner, we regularly send form and lead data straight into HubSpot, and we use tools like Zapier where a lighter connection does the job. If a system has an API, we can usually connect to it, and we confirm that during scoping before you commit.
That’s where custom development comes in. When a plugin or theme stops short, we write the functionality ourselves, whether that’s a searchable directory, a customer portal with logins and role based permissions, a quoting tool, or custom content types your team can manage. We scope each feature in detail first, so you know what it will do, how it will be maintained and what it costs before the build begins. Larger application work is covered under our custom website development service.
Yes. For product businesses we usually build on Shopify, which handles payments, inventory and shipping in one place. We configure the product templates, checkout and Google Merchant Centre so your products can appear in Google Shopping. For GCB, we built a custom ecommerce store that lets them manage sales, stock and marketing from a single system. Where selling sits alongside a content heavy site, WooCommerce on WordPress can be the better fit, and we’ll recommend one based on how you actually sell.
Yes. If your site was built by a freelancer or agency who is no longer available, we start with a technical audit of the code, plugins, hosting, security and access, so we know exactly what we’re working with before we quote. From there we’ll tell you whether it makes sense to fix and maintain what you have, or whether the underlying build is costing you more than a rebuild would. Make sure you have admin access to your domain and hosting, since recovering those is often the first job.
It shouldn’t, provided the migration is planned properly. Most sites that lose rankings after a rebuild lose them on launch day, usually because old URLs weren’t redirected. Before launch we map every existing URL to its new location, set up 301 redirects, carry across the page titles and content that already rank, and monitor Search Console after go live. Our SEO migration checklist sets out the steps we follow on every rebuild or platform move, including sites coming off Wix, Squarespace or older WordPress builds.
Every site is built on a private staging environment with version control, so nothing touches your live site until it’s approved. Before launch we test forms, integrations and checkout flows, check the site across browsers, and test Core Web Vitals on real mobile devices as well as in Lighthouse. That matters in Far North Queensland, where many visitors arrive on patchy mobile data. You review the staging site and sign off before we go live.
You do. At handover you own the website files, the domain and the hosting account, and you receive full admin access plus a documented handover with a training video. There’s no proprietary system tying your site to us, so you’re free to move to another developer or host at any time.
Yes. We offer fast, Australian based hosting from $35 per month, which helps pages load quickly for local visitors. We can also move an existing site onto our hosting with minimal downtime. Hosting with us is optional, and in most cases we can launch your site with your current provider if you’d prefer. See our web hosting page for plan details.
Every build includes a post launch support window (30 days on our standard builds) to fix anything that comes up once real visitors start using the site. After that, core, theme and plugin updates, backups and security monitoring need to happen regularly to keep the site safe. You can manage this yourself with the training we provide, or hand it to our team through a website maintenance package from $499 per month.
Three things make the biggest difference to how smoothly a build runs. First, admin access to your domain, current hosting and any systems we’re integrating with. Second, your content, including copy, photos and product data, ready by the agreed dates. Third, one person on your side who can make decisions and sign off each stage. Delays on development projects usually come from waiting on content or access, so we lock those dates into the scope before work begins
Yes. Our in house developers work from our office at 254 Buchan Street, Westcourt, and you’re welcome to sit down with the people building your site. Development, hosting and integrations are led by Jeison Marroquin, our Head of Information Technology, who manages infrastructure across more than 40 live websites. Projects run through a mix of in person and online meetings, so it works just as well from anywhere in Far North Queensland. Call (07) 4000 8532 to book a time.
